How many designs fit on a 22 × 60 gang sheet?
With 0.25-inch edge margins and 0.25-inch gaps, a 22 × 60-inch sheet fits eight 10 × 12-inch designs in two columns and four rows. Your result changes with design size, printable width, spacing, and layout.
How the gang sheet estimate works
We subtract the edge margin from both sides of the sheet, count how many designs fit across and down with your selected gap, and compare a 90° rotation if enabled. This is a grid estimate for repeated rectangular designs. It does not combine different design sizes or create a print-ready file; a supplier's artwork builder may fit a different number.
Before you order transfers
Measure artwork at its final print size. Confirm the supplier's printable width, edge margin and cutting gap. Check file resolution, background requirements, sheet sizes, current pricing and turnaround before ordering.
Gang sheet calculator FAQs
How much space should I leave between transfers?
Use your supplier's required cutting gap and edge margin. The calculator starts at 0.25 inches for each; these are planning defaults, not a universal production rule.
Does rotating designs fit more transfers?
Sometimes. With rotation enabled, the calculator compares an all-upright grid with an all-rotated grid and shows the higher count. Mixed-orientation nesting may yield a different result.
Can I mix different design sizes?
This calculator estimates repeated copies of one size. Use your supplier's gang-sheet builder for mixed artwork. Separate full-sheet capacities cannot simply be added together.
Is the cost per transfer a supplier quote?
No. It divides the editable sheet price and shipping by estimated capacity. Confirm the actual order price, taxes and any other charges with your supplier.
